What support will I have from professionals?

Many people may find that they struggle with the companies who should be helping them to square up their debt and improve their financial status. Often, their experience of these companies suggests that they are difficult to get hold of or that they only send information by post.

This is not what one should expect from an IVA professional. IVA professionals have a strict code to which they should adhere and they can get into trouble if they do not provide the level of service that consumers expect.

Different companies do indeed have different policies, rules and procedures that they should follow when they assist clients. However, the office of fair trading has laid down rules that professionals should follow to ensure that they give only the best service possible.

Everyones circumstances differ so it is a good idea to speak to someone who has extensive training in financial matters.
